My confirmation email never arrived. What should I do?

If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, please check your spam folder. If you think you entered an incorrect email address during the registration process, simply start over with the right email.

I forgot my password – how do I get it back?

On the login page, click the link that says, “Forgot it?” Enter the email address associated with your Zugme account. We’ll send you instructions on how to access your account.

Can I change my name, username, email or password?

Yes – click on your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner, and choose “Account & Settings.” Your current password is required to change it to something else.

Where’s my shared content? I don’t see it when I log in.

Maybe you need to upload a photo to your profile. If you don’t have a photo uploaded, your content will not appear on the home page – even if you’ve assigned your Share to a Feed.

Can I change my language preferences?

Yes – Zugme currently supports more than 50 languages! Click on your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner, and choose “Languages.” You can select preferred languages for your Shares, and for the Home page content you want to see.

Once you’re set up your preferred languages, you can further refine your language selections within your Feeds. Do you tend to post on a specific topic in a specific language? Click the Feeds icon in the upper left-hand corner, and choose “Manage Feeds” in the bottom of the pop-up box.

Select a Feed from the list of your favorite Feeds. Information about this Feed appears at right. Scroll down to select your default language when sharing in this Feed.

How can I shut off notifications?

Click on your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner, and choose “Notifications.” On the Notifications page, choose the notifications you want to receive, and whether you want to receive them on Zugme & app and/or email.

What happens when someone I invited joins Zugme?

People who accept your invitation to join Zugme will be assigned as your followers automatically. You will be notified by email when the person you invited joins Zugme.

Why do you need my date of birth and gender?

We need to determine your age, because people under 16 are not allowed to use the service. Also, your date of birth may be required to confirm your identity for account security purposes.

We do not show your date of birth on your profile. You can also hide your age, and even your gender, from public view by checking the “Do not show” box in your Account’s Privacy settings.

Are there any age restrictions for joining Zugme?

You must be at least 16 years old (or the legal age of adulthood in your country, at which age you may enter into contracts) to open a Zugme account and use Zugme services.

What am I not allowed to share on Zugme?

You are not allowed to share, post, submit or display content that: (i) infringe any third party's copyrights, privacy rights, publicity rights, trademark rights or contract rights; (ii) contains links to an adult website, sexually explicit content or pornography; (iii) exploits people in a sexual or violent manner; (iv) contains hateful, discriminatory content or promotes racism, hatred or physical harm against any individual or group; (v) contains information that might pose or create a privacy or security risk to any person; (vi) promotes criminal or tortious activity, including fraud, trafficking in obscene material, drug dealing, gambling, harassment, stalking, spamming, spimming, "pyramid schemes," or Ponzi schemes; (vii) provides information about illegal activity, including but not limiting to buying or constructing illegal weapons; (viii) solicits personal information from anyone under 18; or (ix) violates any law.

Can Zugme remove my content?

Zugme reserves the right to remove, screen, edit, or reinstate any content from time to time at our sole discretion and without notice to you. Zugme has no obligation to retain or provide you with copies of your content. We have a policy of not commenting on content removals.
