ZUGME Branding Policy
This document explains our guidelines regarding the use of ZUGME’s trademarks, logos, web pages, screen shots, or other distinctive features (“ZUGME Brand Features” or “Brand Features”). If you'd like to use any of ZUGME Brand Features in any way that isn't covered here, please contact us.
Trademark Basics
What is a trademark?
A trademark is a word, name, symbol or device (or a combination thereof) that identifies the goods or services of a person or company and distinguishes them from the goods and services of others. A trademark assures consumers of consistent quality with respect to those goods or services and aids in their promotion.
Why is it important to use marks correctly?
Rights to a trademark can last indefinitely if the mark is properly used to identify certain products and services. If not used properly, rights in a mark may be lost or improper use may create customer confusion.
General Guidelines for Use of ZUGME Brand Features
  • Use the current ZUGME logo or current ZUGME mark.
  • Distinguish our trademark from the surrounding text in some way. Capitalize the first letter or the entire mark, place the mark in quotes, or use a different font or stylization from the mark.
  • Keep sufficient space around ZUGME Brand Features from other graphic and textual elements on your web page.
  • Use the phrase “Follow me/us on ZUGME” with the word “ZUGME” in the same font size and style when promoting your account.
  • Use the generic term following the trademark, for example: ZUGME Store, Zugme followers, etc.
  • Use anything other than the most current ZUGME logo or current ZUGME mark.
  • Remove, distort or alter our logos by changing the font, color or size proportions.
  • Display a ZUGME Brand Feature in a way that makes it the most prominent element on your page.
  • Use ZUGME trademark, or any other of our trademarks, as a verb, and never in the plural or possessive form.
  • Use marks, logos, slogans or other content that is confusingly similar to the Brand Features, or copy our look and feel as this could create user confusion.
  • Display our Brand Features in a way that suggest any type of partnership, affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or other false associations with ZUGME, or that can be interpreted to suggest editorial content has been authored by, or represents views and opinions of ZUGME or ZUGME personnel.
  • Incorporate our Brand Features with your own product or service name, trademark, logo or company name.
  • Use Brand Features on websites containing content associated with pornography, gambling, or illegal activities.
  • Create your own banners or marks using our Brand Features.
  • Use any artwork from our site without our explicit permission.
